The accelerator programme is designed for women positioned for career advancement within Saudi Arabia’s marketing communications industry. Geared towards women with mid to senior-level expertise in the industry, the programme offers participants a series of tailored coaching sessions, individualised workshops mentored by esteemed industry leaders from around the world plus exclusive networking opportunities.

I am truly honoured to be nominated as an Ambassador for women’s empowerment within the Maheera program. This cause resonates deeply with me, as I firmly believe that empowering women is not just a social imperative but a key driver of our nation’s development and prosperity. In Saudi Arabia, where we are witnessing remarkable transformations, the role of women is becoming increasingly vital. Their contributions are essential to the success of Vision 2030 and the future of our country.

What is the eligibility criteria?

  • The program is designed for women who have attained mid to senior-level expertise, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • To participate, you should have a background in the branded communications industry, encompassing fields such as advertising, marketing, film-making, innovation, editorial, design, PR, or a related discipline
  • Must be living and working in Saudi Arabia

The programme takes place from 05-06 November 2024 during the Athar Festival. The chosen participants will be invited to attend the Athar Awards taking place on the evening of 06 November 2024.  

Applications open: 1 July 

Applications close: 07 October

  • Accommodation and travel expenses will be borne by the chosen applicants.
  • Chosen participants will obtain a pass for the Athar Festival, which includes lunch and refreshments, content and networking opportunities, and a ticket to the Athar Awards.
