a storied track record of delivering industry leading marketing and
commercial success for some of the world’s biggest and most iconic
brands.
Currently the Consumer Marketing Director at Manchester United,
Matt is responsible for connecting with and engaging the clubs 1.1
billion fans and followers worldwide. Prior to this, he led marketing for
the International Olympic Committee, was Brand Director for Nike
Football in London, Global Brand Director for EA Sports FIFA and led
football marketing for Lucozade Sport, the biggest sports drink in the
UK.
Across these roles notable achievements include delivering the most
digitally engaged Summer and Winter Olympic Games in history,
inclusive of winning a Sports Emmy for outstanding campaign that
launched in the Tokyo 2020 opening ceremony. While leading
marketing for EA Sports FIFA, he reimagined the global go-to-market
strategy that enabled the franchise to become the biggest
entertainment property on the planet during his tenure.
