Georges Barsoum
Georges is a passionate brand builder with more than 26 years of experience in the fields of marketing, brand communication, and strategy. He has contributed to the communication and outreach success of key global and regional brands and Government organisations in Saudi and across the MENA region. He started his career in 1998 at JWT KSA. In 2000, he joined Leo Burnett MENA, whereby he worked across several regional and global strategy and operational assignments at Leo Burnett until July 2015. In August 2015, Georges was appointed as CEO for VMLY&R MENA. In January 2023, he started his own company, Anarkey – Strategy Advisory. In January 2024, he was appointed as Deputy CEO and COO of the Extend The Ad Network; a Network of 6 companies that cover all the spectrum of marketing disciples and operate in KSA, UAE, and Cairo. Georges has depth of experience in multiple categories such as FMCG, Banking, Government and Semi-Gov, Retail, Oil and Gas, automotive, Telecom, and other.
